Big shout out to my wonderful dog trainer Tammy!
6 weeks ago, Ollie couldn't even hear a dog without getting too anxious and "aggressive"... we'd have to move from the area. Walking was a nightmare and there was absolutely no way going into town was an option, as the potential to see another dog was too high. Also excessive barking and not listening to instructions was at an all time high.
I've tried a few different training groups and found Tammy at Doggy Style Dog Training and haven't looked back! Tammy and her dogs Beau and Specks have taken the time to work with us as a team with lots of patience. Persistence has been the key with stubborn Ollie, but Tammy always had faith and never let her take a step backwards. Her positivity and training method was fantastic.
In the first lesson, Ollie tried to have a go at Beau... in the last lesson, they were walking side by side, and Ollie had very little interest in any dogs in the street. Tammy has helped Ollie put her trust in me, and now we are nearly the perfect team.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tammy at "Doggy Style Dog Training" to ANYONE with any breed of dog. She is a wonderwoman! It has made the biggest difference to us and I couldn't be happier nor more thankful.

Awesome trainer! Tammy and her style of training is just fantastic.
Really enjoyed the one on one lessons, and the fact her dogs come along and assist. Down to earth, everyday real life lessons and language tools that doggies really seem to understand. I looked forward to our weekly lessons, and Oscar improved from day one.
Key is to practice what you've learnt as often as you can, and that's the motto Tammy instilled and it works!!! Thank you, Tammy!

To anyone considering training their dogs, we highly recommend Doggy Style Dog Training.
Tammy put us on a six week program with our two dogs, which took place at our house. This was incredibly useful for us, as Tammy was able to clearly see the dogs' behaviour in their usual environment.
The training was easy to understand and implement through Tammy's detailed explanations and demonstrations. Also, the training notes provided at the end of each lesson are very useful to look back over as a reminder.
After the six week program, our dogs are now very well behaved. A huge difference!
We had tried other reward-based training in the past, which had worked well for some things, however it didn't help us when it came to changing negative behaviours. With one young dog with fear aggression, and the other constantly barking, we were at a loss before we contacted Doggy Style Dog Training. After only six weeks, the difference in our dogs is unbelievable!!! They walk beautifully on leads now, instead of pulling and tripping us up, they no longer bark at the door bell, or at neighbours having parties, they come back when called, and are generally much easier to manage.
It has not only improved our lives, but the dogs' too. Thanks very much, Tammy!

From the moment Tammy walked through our door, I knew we had been saved. Sophie and I needed to be trained to appreciate each other, and Tammy certainly made that happen. Before Tammy came into our life, Sophie was out of control, loveable, but out of control. After the first session with Tammy, I could see that there was hope. After 6 weeks of sessions, it was a real pleasure to take my Sophie to Earthly Pleasures for a coffee with Tammy and Beau... something I would not have contemplated 6 weeks ago! I would recomment Tammy and her training to anyone who wants to reconnect with their dog.
